    Here a pic of my small WW1 collection, i have not pictured 50 fotos from a german soldier.

    That's a nice start. I would take the EK1 out of the plastic sleeve as moisture can build up in them.

        I keep all my medals in a plastic sleeves in a dry and dark place, only a few are on shelfs for display (but in that sleeves too). I think they are ok, but I'm keeping them like that only since july 2010. Do you think that sleeves are dangerous? What is your way to store medals?

              nice collection! Please make a picture of only the ek1, back and front, looks like a nice Deumer! Is it magnetic?

                The cross is magnetic indeed it is in bad condition.
                The Pin is broken off. I just got the cross for free.
