    Imperial Stick Pin or Not???

I came across this in my travels and wondered if it might be an imperial stick pin. Thoughts and Opinions please.

    Thanks,
    Eric

It's not a miniature of any official award that I'm aware of.
My best guess is that it's a piece of women's jewelery.

That was my guess, but I wanted to check. The twist on the stick is what caught my attention.
          Thanks Greg!

Agreed. And what it a beautiful pin it is.

Beyond that, you have the original case named to H. J. Wilm, a name rather well known to Imperial German collectors. Incidentally, the “twist on the stick” is rather common - I think to give a better grip on the material than would be presented by a smooth, polished surface.

            Very nice indeed!

Yeah, the "twist" is to help prevent it from slipping out, especially on stick pins for ties. It's a beautifully made piece, nice find.

                ...and still in business!

WILM (and a bit of history here)

I think the case should be looked at a little better. The two items may not belong together. The pin looks like it may be Russian. The case may be for a German Imperial award.

I will get some more pictures a little later. Besides the twist on the stick pin, I too that the case was interesting. I will be curious to see what the outcome is on this.

The Imperial Russian eagle would have been double-headed. IMO the pin looks OK as German piece.

Isn't that the royal monogram of the queen of Prussia (Augusta Victoria)?
