    A Few Good EKs

As I begin to downsize my collection of many years, I've resurrected a few EKs that have been put-away for quite a while...prompted by the interest of a collector friend...so thought I'd share a couple of good ones here as well.

Here, a nice cased Godet EK1:

Here's another nice EK1 by KMST, nicely vaulted and with an unusual attachment device. Note also the silver mark.

                Those are some great crosses.
A cased Godet is always a treasure. The KMST is a terrific cross and
having it's second class version to go with it is a plus.

Are KM and KMST the same firm?

                    In my opinion, yes.

                    Your crosses are awesome, John.
                    Best regards,

                            1870 EKs

Thanks for the comments. The enthusiastic response prompts me to dig deeper and further back into time. These 1870s haven't seen the light of day for quite some time. Note that the EK1 is marked "900" twice, on the pin and backplate, for silver content. Hope they meet with your approval.

Close-ups of the EK2, 1895 Jubilaeumsspange (hollow back with flat attachment prongs) and 1914 Wiederholungsspange (with Wagner makermark and silver proofmarks and round, sharply-pointed attachment pins).
