    Well....my comments are:

Nr. 1: it looks like it was put together yesterday.

Nr. 2: the MVO4 looks like poop for many reasons in comparison to a good one - lacks quality in workmanship in every way.

Nr. 3: The wear and the patina on the EK II and Centennial medal look honest, yet it does not match the lack of wear and patina on everything else. The ribbons and felt backing look way too new.

Nr. 4: I agree with Don’s observation that the pin hinge and pin catch assembly is out of whack – not horizontal in relationship to the bar itself or the way it is intended to be worn.

Summary: I do not like it, although the EK II, the Hindy and the Centennial are probably ok on their own.

      .

Looks like a recent assembly of mixed new and old components to me as well. I'd base top bid price for it on the market value of the contemporary medals only, as identified by Brad in his summary. Everything else about it is worth pretty much zip, IMHO.

Is it my eyes, or is the BMVO gilded? It does look way too 'fresh', but anything is possible.

I have to agree with this point (and the others). Not the usual high quality you do see on these beautiful decorations....

Hi, I noticed this one as well while trolling FeeBay.

The ribbons look like they were made specially for this auction. Wear on the EK II and Centennial doesn't match as Brad pointed out (Good description of the MVO4 as well).

All in all, even to my rookie eyes I would not want this in my collection.

While I think the MVO is probably fine, but was cleaned, the bar is crap. It was discussed on GMIC some months ago.
