My first EK1

Hello guys.

I´m mostly a third reich collector but I always wanted to have Imperial EK. I allready have a EK2.

I have been looking for Cased EK1 for some time. I didn´t wanted a KO maker,
because they are too common and the core of KO crosses are not the best looking in many cases.

The Prices for cased EK1 has been going up and I see them going from 325€ up to 375€.

I found one at House Of History (with 20% off) for 300€. It´s WS (Wagner & Sohn, Berlin) maker marked and in case

The Cross is a good looking and I realy like it.

What do you guys think? Did I make a good purchase?

Not cheap (I think Winkler never is), but a very nice one.

I think you made a very nice choice I like WS crosses myself. Its a very nice cross and case but I think 300 euro is way too much to pay.

Winkler is expensive (even with 20% off) but you got a nice Wagner und Sohn EK1!

That is a very nice Ek1, and a very impressive start of a (no doubt) expending collection of wk1 ek1's.. they do come in multiples

Yea I know Winkler is not cheap

With 20% off, it´s almost normal dealer price. Even 300€ for this WS Ek1 I´m still happy.

seen the condition off the ek and etui

1939 crosses are way Moore expensive
and half as nice as this one .


a good choice fore a first, well done ( most firsts are fake usually )
