When I saw Bob's post about his house burning down (again) I could feel the anguish in it. I was glad that he and his family were ok. I knew that at the time things were probably looking pretty bleak for him and asked myself what I could do to restore that Christmas cheer. It seemed to me that everyone could use a little Godet in their life and since I had that cross coming to me as a present to myself I decided to divert it to someone in need. It only takes a small gesture to restore ones hope and this truely was a small gesture on my part. Just a pretty bit of metal. And yet, I expect to see Bob's new collection spring from this small beginning. Merry Christmas Bob, to you and your family and a better New Year.

Bob, sorry to hear about your fire. Hope no one was hurt. I'm jealous of that Godet!!
Don, that's about the nicest gesture I've ever seen anyone make on one of these internet forums. Your core colors are showing through brightly and it makes me glad you're our moderator. Gary

bobcam1 had ANOTHER fire? Man, that really sucks. I mean one would be bad enough; but to lose your collection twice has to be devastating. Even so, Bob's attitude is inspirational; ready to jump right back into the game again.

Don.....you may perceive the gesture as small, but the restoration of hope and the gratitude are enormous...
