I agree that this area is a minefield, as they are doing this better from year to year.
If it would be a real one, the actual price in Europe would be around €160,- (even italian shows) as prices went down, due to all these fakers....
    Best regards Stephan
If you find me 100 original Sturmtrupp badges for 160 EACH I'll buy them all.
Please just PM if this is the case.

Well, so far, the fakes that I have seen are not that good. They are castings, the backs are very poor and indistinct and the pin systems are wrong.

160 Euro does seem like a low price for a Sturmtrupp badge.

I agree, most fake Austrian badges are poorly made, if compared to originals.

I also agree that "Militalia", the italian militaria show, held in Novegro (close to the Milan-Linate Airport) is a very fine place where to find interesting pieces for one's collection.

            Best wishes,

            Elmar Lang

Sorry no pin but how about a couple of Italian shell cases turned into a tabacco jar on the reverse side ?

Picture worth a thousand words so I will ask ebony to post some images of this little gem brought back by a New Zealand soldier in 1918,

                Chris
