    Nicest Imperial EKs

We've had threads about the favourite EKs and the ones with the most mystique. But what are the nicest crosses. The ones with the sharpest details, nicest paint and crispest beading.

What are the nicest looking Imperial crosses?

I have limited knowledge of Imperial crosses but I really like Juncker, EW and MFH.

I agree -- and I have to say AWS, too.

Godet gets my vote as well. I also like We, CF Zimmermann (blue core), and FR.

Oops! That should be Godet and not Juncker.

Well.. For EKs with casted core, I prefer those like my grand-grand-granddad had.. Great quality and design.. Looks like standart pattern on first view but shines due to superior quality!

For special items like uniques.. No one can beat Kays AWS EK2 with Onyx core.. It´s just supreme to all other items.. I worship it every day

For EKs with stamped core.. Man, its a very hard between Wagner and Godet, but I guess Godet wins due to his wonderfull Godet Berlin vaulted crosses.. Sure AWS pillowbacks look great too, but the number-design isn´t so great, at least on the 1914 but the 1870 look better!

But something else that is hard to beat in general- 1813 grand cross. Once I saw the pics on "The Iron Time" my heart was sold. So lovely detailed finest hand-work.. Just Awesome!

                Thanks
