Prinzen 1914 EK2

A friend of mine has the chance to pick up this Prinzen 1914 EK2. I told him I don't like it, but I would like some other opinions. Is this one real?

Hi Tom, there's a very good thread on here somewhere re prinzens with the stepped core. I believe if my memory serves me correctly these are not considered good, but I could be wrong. I'll see if I can dig up that thread.
