    Schleswig-Holstein docs

The patent for an Infantrie Regiment and regs for recruiting inducements (the King;s Krone ) dated 1806 and 1767 respectively. The iteresting thing is that, although printed under the sigil of Christian VII of Denmark they're written in German. If anyone's interested I can post the rest of the pages.

      Schleswig-Holstein

One can only state the famous quote of someone from about 1870; "there are only two people in the entire world who understand the Schleswig-Holstein question, and the other one is entirely mad." (This is from my unreliable memory.) He of course was saying that he was the other one who understood the situation.

This of course was the convoluted situation that Bismarck exploited to advance toward the creation of the Second Reich.

God bless anyone who even has the slightest understanding of this situation. I have none.
