      Staged photo

Wolf ty for the pm. Yes absolutely staged. There are at least 7 indicators that this is purely for 'charity'

Was on holidays and was driving through the mountains in Alberta Canada...came upon this monument at a village called Frank... (home also to the tragic Frank landslide)... the Monument is called the Dunlop Guns... I've tried to upload the history on them but if you are having trouble reading it the short answer is they were acquired by Mr Dunlop Sr after WW1.... He and his three sons all enlisted but he was the only one to return home... his three boys were all killed....the Canadian government gave him 2 MG08's and a 10.5cm howitzer for the monument...

                Memorials

Jim huge thanks for posting. All 3 sons, and he served himself! What a loss though.
Beautiful monument but what must have the father thought each day. Very sad.

In UK we have just had the murder of a soldier in a normal London street. Of course nowadays criminals have many rights, indeed sometimes more so than the victims. I wonder what all our brave war dead would think of that.

Looking for the sled deck tools if anybody knows of a source. These are just the reamer and cartridge extractor.

                                Nice image

Apart from the super smart great coats, good view of the early pattern ammo box and muzzle gland.
