        simon absolutely right ,,

the Maybauer is fully justified to be amongst the most popular and desirable crosses ..
the quality and beauty is up to any standard shown here by other makers .

        so is the KMST
who's adding a surprising avant-garde backside off high artistic workmanship to this gathering off most famous crosses amongst collectors

but one off the most forgotten crosses is the Deutscher offiziers verein cross ...al do we can still say its a unknown maker in a way

the standard off quality , good looks in design , and character is absolutely off the highest level .

favourite,, as unmissable ek to complete it all ,,
regretably only after all others are taken

My favorites are the early WW1 crosses from late 1914.

The second one is definately not a Meybauer but a Godet "wideframe" with wrong disc. I´m searching for a needle version at the moment, but they are hard to get. Just thought you might want to know that

                    greetings

                              Hi Simon,

I agree with Andy that it's not a Meybauer -- which is why I asked to see the reverse. I also agree with Andy that is probably a Godet with one of their later frames.
                              Best regards,
