Medal bar and EKI - Looking for some opinions

    Hello all,

I recently acquired these items in a trade, and since Imperial militaria is not my area (i collect TR stuff mostly) i'm looking to sell them. The EKI is marked KO. I would like to make sure that they're OK though, could anyone confirm this? And what would be a reasonable asking price?

    Thanks!!

It all looks good to me -- and the bar has a lot of character!

I'm thinking the pin on the EK1 is a replacement.

The pin does not look like any of the pins on my KO marked EK1's.

I will double check when I get home.

The lack of detail on the frame beading looks strange - like it has been H E A V I L Y worn.

The bar is a good Bavarian bar with typical Bavarian ribbon wraping..

Is that even a KO core? My collection is 700kms away, otherwise I would be in having a look, but I swear, that looks like another makers core.

                  Hi,

Yes IMO it is one of the cores found in a KO. Not the most "common" (I don't think you can say rare in the same sentence with KO ).

I agree with the needle and catch replacement. The beading shows that it is heavenly worn which may explains why a sturdy KO setup is replaced.

Nice worn cross and I would not be ashamed if it where in my collection.

                  Best regards,
                  Michel
