The first medal appears to be a polish merit medal.

I have seen several of the miniature sword hangers and they all appeared
        to be Russian.

Can anyone confirm the skull medal is a Balachowicz Cross of Bravery?

              From left:
              1. Polish Merit Cross 2nd class (civil)
              2. Polish-Russian Bulak-Balakhovitsch Cross of Merit (fake I think, but maybe I'm wrong...)
              3. Russian Medal for Bravery "Za Hrabost"
              4. Russian Medal for Russian-Japan war

On that little sword is also written "Za Hrabost" (for bravery)

That combo fits to white russians who emigrate to Poland after 1917 and later fight in a polish-russian war (1920) in polish army.

I happen to own a Polish Merit Cross myself.

                The ring is nifty:

                    # Trevor - yours is from period of Polish People Republic (2nd pattern 1960-1992).
Here you got all grades of that type:

I sold them all a few days ago....

                    # Ron - yours cross is from 2nd Republic indeed (I think that was made in excile in London, maybe earlier in France - so 1939-1945/later).

The more I see, the less I trust... I'd not touch any of these.

A German, fighting the Red end/post WW1? It may be, I think. But I still don't like the set.
