I am guessing that if original, that it is a post ww1 piece and most
likely from the 1920s-30s.

The crown details remind me of the Deumer made ww1 crosses.

In my opinion this is a good WWII-era display copy, or an immediate-postwar display or collectors' copy.

I got it from a guy that I thrust, he says that he have had it for 15 years or so.

So it's not new.
