Cased EK2 - More Photos and Need Help with the Maker Mark

I have shown this nice set in an earlier thread...some asked for a few more photos of the box which has a fine dark green leatherette covering.

The indented liner for the cross has raised edges which gives the whole piece a quality affect.

The marker mark is really tough for it does not seem to be a clean strike...I got the best photo I can at the moment... I will see if can do better tomorrow.

If anyone has a clue as to the maker it would be greatly appreciated.

Possible maker

Hi there.
I'm not sure but if you rotate your photo it could be maker K.A.G.
Just a guess though.

Ian, I thnk you have it right. I am positive now that I have gone back and checked it that it is a KAG.

Sometimes you need a suggestion and than you can see it right away.

I have a KAG 800, so they are out there. This is not a common mark. KAG is very common, but KAG 800 is not easy to find. Great set!
