Ken has this ehrenbecher group (pricey), but I'm curious to hear other's opinions regarding the paperwork. He has a pilot badge document dated three days after the ehrenbecher award. How likely is that, even if explained as a bureaucratic error?

I can't really tell much based on those tiny photos, but on the face of it, an interesting group. He's right that the documents for the Ehrenbecher are rare, especially an early one like this. It is possible to have had the goblet awarded before the pilot badge, as these were given only on completion of the pilot course and actual combat experience, which varied from unit to unit.
