Epaulette help, ring, death card etc

Picked up some items today, and having a hard time with
identifying the epaulette. Pretty sure it's imperial, due to
the pips and numerals, but can't remember seeing
the flaming ball insignia being used by the germans. Anyone help
    with some info on it?
Also need help with the hat cockades, I think the oval one
is Russian, and the other... I don't know, and are they original.
    The ring, trenchart???

    thanks

The epaulette is Imperial German, I believe it is from a Hauptmann (Captain) of Feld-Artillerie-Regiment (2. Rheinisches) Nr. 23. If you want a history of the regiment, what battles it was in, etc., I'm sure I could type something up.

The soldat in the death card was from the 3rd Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment, died in a field hospital due to severe wounds.

The crown on the ring appears Bavarian too from this angle. A straight on shot would nail it.

Thanks gentlmen, The person I purchased these from
bought them at an estate sale, He was told the deathcard and ring
were together and from the same soldier. No providence, possible,
but probably just a coincedence. Excuse my spelling.

Close enough for government work imo.

These pieces also came with it, 2 appear to be buttons.
The other piece looks pretty new.
Anyone have any idea what these are or are they totally unrelated
and knights of columbus type of items?

I believe the brass helmet insignia and the other are Belgian collars. The two Russian cap badges are for regular enlisted men (oval) and for military officials (round one). The flaming bomb might be Russian as well.
