The buckle looks like it was gold over nickel, some gold left on the face plate. The back has a lot of gold left.
Any Ideas of what this was used for. Perhaps WWI Buckle used in the Weimar Navy.????? The person joined the Weimar Navy , and was army in WWI. Unusual that it is nickel.
