Hello,
I'm seeking opinions if this is a real, unmarked Meybauer mfg'd Prussian Pilot Badge. And also if it is real, is it contemporary to WW1 era, 1920's, or 1930's era?
My apologies for the photo quality, I did not shoot the images. I wish the front side images were focused a bit crisper.
I've looked at the thead:
http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...er+pilot+badge
This piece which I have the opportunity to aquire appears to be a match/similar of an unmarked Meybauer badge in the above thread. Not sure why the solder point color for the catch appears to be so obvious/different colored. Possible repair? Again, everyones comments/opinions are appreciated.
This badge was supposedly a WW2 vet bringback piece.
Sincerely,
Alan Schaefer
