    Interesting 1909 pinback..

    Was wondering if anyone knows what the letters on the pinback stand for?? I would think it could be for a USA-German group in New Your?? Mike

      DKB...I think Deutscher Krieger Bund New York. A veterans organization.

        Plenty of german vets from the 1870-71 war imigrated to the US.

          Thanks for the comments-that was what I was leaning towards but not sure. Also, Kriegerbund is one word in German, maybe an American way using the letters K B. Now-wonder how many different US-German veteran pins there were in the US..Very happy to have add this to my humble collection. Mike

            Plenty of German Associations here in the states. When I was growing up in Ohio we always went the the German Freiheits Club for the 4th of July. Brotchen and wurst, what could be more traditional.
