My first 1870 ek2

Hi guys,

Don warned me for this and yes here's my first 1870 item. Got this one of the estand last week and just wanted to be double checked before I add it into my collection. I really like the cross, the wear and especially the long (and what I think is a) period ribbon.

I also wondered whether this was an actually wartime made cross or a cross made between the two wars? And last but not least, is there a maker known of these? All sounds a bit green, but this is what I am to these

Hey Giel,

Can you post larger images (even just the obverse)? A high-res scan would be perfect. I would like to be more certain about Wagner before you mark it down as such.

Hi Giel,

The scan is perfect. I think I was too hasty in naming Wagner as the maker, but let me get home this evening and compare the frame closely with mine to be sure.
