I have been offered this GWB in response to my signature. I am a novice in the field, and it's always better to settle any questions before shipping, so could I please hear your opinions on this one? Authenticity and quality/collectibility.

Really, I'm looking for two GWBs -- a "Mattgelb" award-type and a "feuervergoldet" private purchase example. I believe this one is one of the former.
