GrossKreuz help?

Think this is a Grosskreuz. It comes from an old museum, need help to check it out. Its what the germans call "rohling", rawmaterial for ready piece. Pictures are rather large so it might take som time.

It's an interesting piece, but it seems to have rather poor detail.

not my pics, so could be them. I dont know how they prepared those cores, but they must have been polished or something like that, maybe the detail is under that old patina?? I can have it for a small amount, under 100 e. The seller bought a bunch of stuff from that museum, almost for free. The other stuff was eral, but thats no proof that this one is the real deal. Ofcourse they could have ordered this as a sample. Think I buy it, I can take the loss if a fake......

Lack of detail really makes me wonder also. But if cheap, you might be pleasantly surprised later.
