    Medal Bar

In my collection for many years, this came into a coin shop and sold for metal content (very low price). Can it be traced to the original owner?

Nice bar Ron. Can we see the revers? I doubt it can be traced but Paul will tell you for sure.

Sorry Don, my girl friday didn't shoot the reverse as we were pressed for time. I had a couple of Germans who wanted to see my collection and only had so much time. I will show some of the other items in the appropriate sections. Ron

            Medal Bar

            Hi Ron,
I must say that is one beautiful medal bar.

            Regards,

              Lovely!

And I would have thought it can be traced, due to the long service awards. Too many with HOH3X and HT in the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht?

                Jody!!! It's been years!

I agree with Saschaw. I reckon if you were willing to pen a letter to the Master, he might be able to help you. The LS medals indicate continuous service in the Reichsheer/navy and the HHOx indicates a kick-ass comabt jr. officer in WW1. The number of people I find with this possible combination in my 1929 ranklists is less than ten (admittedly, I have not looked very hard) and as time went on there would have been more awards added or officers who retired/went into the Luftwaffe. The bar must date from @ early 1937-1940.

I know someone who could narrow it down and if you offered him $50 he might help you.

I would gladly pay $50.00, but I don't know the experts. Who do I contact?
