    1870 2nd Class Iron Cross

    This piece was offered to me and I do not like the aging and rust color. it looks chemically applied.

    I searched the fakes that were posted and could not find a match.

    That is a well-known fake, thought to originate in Latvia.

        Agreed. The latvian fake4 can be found dated 1813 thru 1939 and with
        different attachment styles and makers marks.
