Stupid EK question

Hello
I was wondering if theres anyway to find out the Maker Of an EK2 thats missing the suspension ring?
And also what about EK's that arent Marked ,any way to tell who made them?

No such thing as stupid questions around here Eric. Only way to determine the maker of a piece that is ether unmarked or missing the ring is to match the core and beading characteristics to a known, marked piece.

Theres no way i can take a closeup with my camera

Its a three piece, magnetic core and it seems to be made of brass or something similar. Im sure thats not going to help much.sorry
