Thought I'd show these guys. I'll add 'em to the database, too.

Very nice. When it comes to EK1s, these are some of the more desireable makers, so having second class versions is great. Not sure how easy finding a Hansen cored EK2 is. KMs don't seem super hard to find.

        Thanks Steve,

I picked these two up over the past week. If price is any indicator of rarity, the Hansen's are tough to find -- this was the most expensive EK2 I ever bought (save the AWS/Junckers from Detlev Niemann).

I like these two crosses for their character.

          Imperial EK2s always have character.

Very nice pick ups Trevor. I like the Hansen core in particular, very clean. Is the ring maker marked?

I just purchased my very first Godet EK2 off of eBay - and paid a pretty penny for it as well. But I did so in part because you and others on the Forum have written so highly of Godets, that I figured I should have at least one in my collection.

              Best,

              Alex

Hopefully you never overpaid too much for the Godet. They are some of the nicest, but they aren't too hard to find.

alex ,,what you pay on ebay is dependent off who else is bidding together with you ....

and don't base what you buy on what is being popular here ,,but what you like yourself .

                  regards kay

Both are fine examples Trevor, I'm liking the Hansen model a lot.

Thanks, guys. The "Hansen" is unmarked, and I believe this (obverse) core was also used by "Fr." -- I'll have to compare the frame to know which it is. Either way, it's a very nice cross. Thanks for the nice words.

Thanks for your concern Kay. Rest assured I would never purchase an EK I didn't like myself. But thanks to the discussions I've followed on the Forum, I have a new sense of appreciation for the diversity of EK core variations, something I knew little about before. And this has enhanced my collecting experience.

                        Best,

                        Alex
