you're absolutely right ,,my pictures showing the same thing

I was thinking it was a early stamp or somehow stamped a little sloppy..

        but it is indeed BD 800..(or 8D 800 )
        maybe dubble 800 ?
        maybe a new maker ?

        well seen
        here some pictures ,,,
O , and fore the case ,,,its clear to me that this is a patriotic universal case
not meant fore the ek or ring in particular ,,but fore more then one patriotic item

Paul Küst providet etui's (small boxes surrounded with glass) fore spange up to 9 rewards but also available fore the ek1 ,,,
wood not be surprised this was also a universal display case fore patriots
and mothers proud off there son's ek .

Definitely a CD core Kay. The first one has some defects, maybe a Monday or Friday cross LOL. The second is just another regular CD800 for comparison.
I wonder if this is where the maker BD or BD800 comes from? Someone could have mistaken this stamp for BD ( like I did) I've never seen a cross marked BD yet. Maybe this solves an error as yours shows that there was more than one at least.

I think all of these cases were for rings.

Kay, I thought your head would be bigger than this.

Nice cases all. Just another reason for me to be jealous.
