Any ideas on this one guys?
I bought it as a '925' but it's really hard to make out the number on the ring.....

I haven't seen any Imperial medals marked with an "825" silver content, but I have seen many items marked "925".Comment

I agree. It seems more likely this is a 925. 825 may be listed as a silver content mark somewhere, but can anyone show a cross with that silver mark? I have an EK2 with a 925 mark on the ring and have seen at least one other. I have at least one EK1 with a 925 mark also. The marks you see mostly are 800, 925, 935 and sometimes 950. 925 is a hard mark to find on an EK2.Originally posted by jt327gir View PostComment

Fat beading and heavily jewelled crown. Your cross looks like it could be an H.B.G. If so, it would be the first H.B.G. EK2 in the database. Ammersee

i know the follow hallmarks of ek2:
800, 825, 835,900,925,930,950 and 1000. but 1000, 950 and 930 are very rare. 930 are often pieces with "brünierten" core (i don`t know the english word of "brünierung")Comment
