Help with a button-hole ribbon please

    Hello Imperial chaps,

Can any of you help with the pale blue with ribbon with wavey lines which is last on this bow? I thought it might be Bulgarian? Also, I have taken the faded red and white ribbon to be the Turkish Crescent Moon - is there anything more likely?

This is one of the first ribbon things I ever got - so long ago now that I'd forgotten I didn't really know what it was!

    Thanks!

Looks like the ribbon for the Bulgarian Merit Cross.Quite a few have been seen on this forum recently so check index for threads for a look and confirmation.

Yup, I'd say you're absolutely right and that red and white is the WWI Turkish War Medal star, then the Bulgarian WW1 Commemorative Medal for Combatants got placed next by mistake. The final pale blue ribbon with silver metallic stripes should have preceded that--

this is the common "bravery" ribbon for ALL Bulgarian awards, so no way to tell exactly what it was: a Soldier's Cross for Bravery, a Bravery Order, a Military Merit Order... about two dozen possibles!

Thanks guys - it was the placement that made me think it was something other than the Bulgarian merit cross as I couldn't see why it would come after the combatant's medal. Also, the lines are slighty different to the only other example of this I have, where the lines are more block-like. But I can live with that.
