Picked this up as part of a trade. im wondering if it worth replacing the ribbon as its torn where the hook holds the ring

its a "normal" ww1 group - so i don't know if its worth to replace the ribbons.
but i wouldn't - so you can see, the age, the wearing and all - leave it in the condition you get it - (or do you want to go to the hospital for "replacing" your skin if you are 71?)
its a nice bar with age

welcome to this forum! I agree with Christian, let it, like it is. Its a nice looking group which has really been worn and used. If you want a nice and clean unworn group with the same medals, you can get one on german-ebay for 30-40 Euro.
