this is something else but from 1885 and 1927... (I think )

in I few years this will be a very rare thing to see ,, ( I hope )

in Germany I heard off a large collector community ,collecting these but ...

,,,the hand writing off those day's is just phenomenal .

Ha, they all wrote like girls back then. Seriously, they have some nice stuff. You never see it for sale in the states.

          Hi Kay,

nice paperwork. The upper "investment certificate" is 1000 mark. Is the other one 50 mark?

Now you must try to read the old german handwriting.. good luck

          Best regards,
          Michel

The first, original issue was 1000 Goldmark - later on devaluated 1918 to 400 Reichsmark (red stamp).

A really beautiful addition to your collection, Kay.

Does anyone know exactly what these are?
              Best regards,

These are share certificates and the owner owns a certain part (e. g. 1000 Goldmark) of the "Deutsche Offiziers- Verein 1884".

Interesting, thank you. So DOV was a publicly owned company.

It was not in general "public" owned. The owner must fulfill the conditions of the membership: e. g. officer

aim still on the research off the structure deutscher offiziers verein ,,

but these shares came also in combination with these (Genuß schein)

as far as I can see in the rules explained in the inner pages
if you owner off a stamm share you get this genuß schein in turn ,,
fore every 400 Rm stamm share's you get one 100 Reichs mark Genuß Schein

with this you did get certain extra voting credits at the meeting off members

but also turn them fore money in under certain conditions I not jet able to understand ..

                        here some pictures
