HI, I was wondering if someone could let me know this mans branch of service and what ribbons he is wearing - looks like EK2 and a Bavarian ribbon but not sure.

As well, a translation from the back of the photo would be amazing!!!

And guys - does that look like a bullet hole in his tunic??

To the tunic I can't say anything. To the ribbons I think, EKI and than maybe Bayern or Hessen, but it is heavy to ID.
