Bavarian Gold Bravery Medal - opinions please

Hi,

any opinions about this Golden Bravery Medal? It is silver gilt with a stamp in the rim: "1000 C" and a die maker "J. Ries".

I don't have it so far, but anyone with opinions or tips about fakes of this medal?!?

Are there any fakes of this medal except the silver ones which were later gilt to make a gold one?

I know, that by bavarian law, all silver-gild medals had to be stamped like this one is with the 1000 hallmark and the "C" as crescent-silver-stamp (like the "938" stamps on the Goldene Militärverdienstkreuz in silver-gilt).

I'll post better pics when I've got this medal and I must replace the suspension ring...
