Strange ID tag

Hi.
I have just found this ID tag, but it looks a little strange to me.
I think it says:

LANDST. J.R.9.
10.Kom. 180

Is this WWI ? Or what is it ??

ID tag

IMHO your tag is an authentic WW1 German identity tag. It is a little crude but could be a unit made one. The unit is Landsturm Infantrie Regiment 9 , 10th Kompanie,stammrolle Nr. 180. I can not tell you whether the leather strap is original to it or not, but have seen this in the past.Hope this helps.
