Since I see you're visiting Imperial a bit more these days, I thought I would bump this thread up with an observation I've had about the frame on this Imperial cross (that eventually wound up on a 1939-series Schinkel by an (as yet) unknown maker).

The center beading is distinctive, but often hard to see on dealer's sites (for example). I noticed that the most distinctive area on this frame is the 9 o'clock beading strand. Towards the bottom of it, the beads become angled. They are no longer horizontal, but rather angle upwards. This is easy to spot on crosses, even with mediocre photos.

I will include an illustration to show what I mean. I hope this can help us to find a maker for the Schinkel by helping one of us in finding an marked Imperial with the same frame.
