Nice Frackspange of an officer

I think it is not possible to ID him. However a very nice and clean Frackspange with the Austrian Military Merit Cross 3. class with war-decoration and swords. Braunschweig KVK 2 and EKII with an iron core which looks like browned (like they made with weapons) instead of lacquered.

Notice a couple of interesting points: The swords on the Austrian ribbon are upside down (I've seen this a lot!) and they colored the thread used to tie the EK2 down, but only where it passes over the core!
