Seller description. You think it's all true?

Offered now is a most excellent and authentic 1914-1813 WWI Imperial German IRON CROSS second class maker marked [SW] by Sy and WAGNER, Berlin, Germany and original WWI award ribbon (non-glow). The cross is made in traditional Prussian/German method of three part construction having 2 silver frames at 100% and symbolic (magnetic) IRON core. Sized at WW I standard 43.0mm. This Iron Cross is graded to be in near MINT and comes on correct/original WWI issue ribbon

Very nice. This is a fairly common maker but it's real and that's what counts. No maker is common I guess till you have one in your collection.

The cross looks nice but I'm suspicious of the ribbon. It appears to have one stitched edge and the other edge has small loops. Both edges should have loops and it looks modern to me. Ammersee

                Kelly,
Glad to see you chose this one. It's in real nice condition.
A very good starter cross. Just be warned--these crosses are addicting.

Thanks greg. I been waiting my whole life for a real IC. Had a replica for 20 years.

Only because of you top collectors at WAF and great opinions, that I decided to buy.

                  I do have limits though. I want just 4 crosses. WW1 EK 1 & 2. WW2 EK 1 & 2.

Thanks all for the friendly posts.

Yes one side does look more looped then the other. But I think ok.
