Johanitten photo portrait

Hi all!

Today postman bring me this beautifull portrait photo.

Still I don't know much about militaria of this Order... Did Johanitten Order have their own uniforms and swords? Or it is just a remade prussian uniform and sword?

If some of you have a nice Johanitten photo please post it too

You're right that he got a french version od neck cross (I didn't recognize that before). Isn't it strange that prussian have a french cross?

Johanniter order had it's own uniform, but I hardly doubt this one is. Doesn't that guy look somewhat more... catholik?



I tend to say he's wearing a Maltese order, not a Prussian Johanniter.
