I thought you cross collectors might enjoy this one so I posted it here too. Today I was lucky enough to pick up an EK 1 by KMST (Königliche Münze, Abteilung Orden, Stuttgart). It was less that dinner out with the wife so I took it home.
It is marked KMST and DRGM. The pin is marked KM and 800. It has a wonderful catch on the clasp, is vaulted and magnetic. The shop had polished it so the patina is gone, but I think it is a keeper.
