Picked this up from someone who cleans out abandoned storage units along with a pickelhaube and bayonet, larger and heavier than service crosses Ive seen before and states " Zur See Unbesiegt Im Feld" on one side and "Marine Korps 1914/18" on other side, nicely parade mounted. Comments please!

This is my favorite veterans medal and you have it on a single mount which is great. Even nicer when they have the battle bars attached to the ribbon. I have one mounted with an Iron Cross with two battle bars and one that came off of a medal brace with only the piece of affixing ribbon with the traditions bar of 1st Marine Infantry Regiment. Too bad they weren't recognized by the Nazi Government and had to come off of the bars.Comment
