I am not having much look finding out what this medal is. Can anyone ID it. I think maybe for an individual regiment???????

that is a private purchased shooting price medal around 1900

costing around 5,50 mark including the engravings and the etui around those day's ...in silver

in copper it was only 2,75 mark

Thanks for the response. So was it a widely issued award?. 5,50 marks was lot back then wasn't it?. What was the criteria for being awarded it?

don't know how widely spread it was ...as it has being sold as a Moore private thing in 1902 by deutscher offiziers verein
