They're Austrian POWs in Fance, hence the PG painted on their uniform (Prisonnier de Guerre).

Except for the balding nco in the middle, they appear to be wearing french tunics with austrian insignia on the collars...

They are Austrian POWs in France @1918. The Austrians had a very small token contingent in France-and these men are from it! Well done. Please PM me for your prize.
