    Ek ii wilm & lw

    Hello fellow collectors,

these are the first EKII 1914 I get and I wanted to share them with you. The WILM has a few bends on the frame and both seem to have slightly loose frames around the center (red arrows) + the cores are a little bit floppy.
    Do you like them?

On the WILM cross, is there a frame flaw on the 6'clock arm covering the "4" of the 1914 and if so is that same flaw on the reverse?

I see what you are saying, it is the frame that is flawed covering the "4", not the core..sorry

Here is another similar flaw on the back. The frame was to tight to fit the date within obviously

I checked the EK database and I do not see any LW maker.
Did this exist or the first cross is not LW

Must be the first one shown. Start a thread entitled "A study of the EK2 marked LW" and I will add it to the database.

Both are very nice original EK2s ,IMO
Yes it is an "LW" marked cross, can't remember the makers name I will have to check my records .I have a couple of crosses with the LW mark.
