I find it incredible for weeks some pretty pathetic updates ... now this?
He must have been on a recent shopping spree somewhere.

I wonder if Gentry jumped on that Lazy 2 since he never went after that S&L he was discussing?

Yeah, me neither. What's up with that? Not that I can afford anything these days anyhow....but I'd like to drop in to see all his goodies.

And speaking of goodies; Wholey Cow!!!! that Gold and enamelled EK is something else! Shame about the damage but just look at the work put into that beauty. Wow.
                    Thanks,
                    Eric Gaumann

we cant all been expelled from Detlev so there might be some problem with his server. I know that several have asked but as far as I know no one has ever got a reply. As long as he sell all his stuff I guess he just dont care.

I googlesearched for him, found this: http://www.detlev-niemann.de/ clicked and was in and saw all the items no problem (and no logging-in) !?!?!?

That gold EK gives me a woodie!
Hopefully someone will start a thread about it.
                          Thanks,

Interesting about the gold EK, it seems made to be either an EK2 or an EK1. You can see the pin is currently removed, but you could just as easily have removed the jumpring by sliding out the hinge pin at top, and left the horizontal pin in for wear as an EK1. Also, the EK1 pin is no doubt horizontal (or was) to avoid interference with a medalbar when worn as an EK2.

                            Best regards,

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Appears to be a "Broach" job fallen apart. You see this (or the remains of) on many Victorian Medals of the 1800's.
