Strange Medal. Can anyone identify it ??

This is a strange medal that is on a WWII bring back belt.
The belt is full of medals and insignia. This one I have never seen before.
It is a pin back medal. I have not removed it from the belt to see if there are any markings on the backside.

Anyone know what this is??

These were called "hate "belts. Made sometimes of captured insignia , buttons etc usually on a german belt. they are highly collectible. Keep it together, its very nice, roll it out, and show us all the insignias on the whole thing,and the back attachments as that may help denote the country of origin.. you are asking about. Also one of the buckle.Front and back if possible.

The double griffin could be from any country , british or french, irish ,even german. The beginnings of these belts started in the first world war, so this is a souvenier belt. Someone may recognize the crest..show us what is attached on each side of the crest also that appears to hang by wire beside each end at the bottom. I cant say ive ever seen that one before...someone will figure it out....good photos...Thanks
