    Cased WW1 EK1 - Opinions please

    Hello Gentlemen,

This is one of only three cased crosses in my collection. I would like your opinions on this cased set. It would seem to be a high quality piece in excellent condition for its age. The push pin and hinge are of a brass material. The lower interior is a crushed velvet material in a deep purple color and the top is an off white silk type material. The EK1 itself is a vaulted 800 marked cross also in similar excellent condition to its box.

    Many thanks & Happy Holidays,
    Vince Leone

    Hello Vince,
very nice set, case is the most common but in my opinion is one of the nicest, cross is nice, the core remember me that one used by B.H.Mayer during the WW2 but the back side is totally different. Just a curiosity, can you tell me cross dimension in mm ?

The case is a nice Early case. The cross is very nice as well.
I do not think it's a Meyer as I can not see the beading flaw on the
on the 6 o'clock arm. BUT still a nice cross.
