EK1 For Review

I was wondering what you thought of this EK1. It is of multipiece construction and looks pretty good to me, but i have never seen this hinge before. I appreciate your help.

Hi Jeremiah,

Not for me I'm sorry. Although it looks like a good quality piece, I think it's one of the new "strange crowned", large block hinge, needle pin fakes. These can also be found as 1870s, with the same hardware and same strange crown, only the date is changed. They are now constantly on eBay, although only in small numbers.

Also not a setup (core, hardware) I am familiar with, or would be comfortable with. There are so many known-good crosses out there. I'd stick to one of those if you are looking to buy.
