        aim bin watching this one fore a week ,,,,

        I was wondering WY it took so long to be revealed here ?

        and that is not the only weird ek on the German e bay ,,,

        lots off rely good fake 1870 ek's passed by to ,,

            just to be honest,,,,there are passing also very nice original ek's the last few month .

            saw one ek1 JHWerner with pin system
            and two very good godet ek1 with fangs ,,,fore a god price to

            so not all is bad

                        Interesting. The obverse looks like a S&L TR or earlier 57er core/frame. I'm wondering if this is another example of a "frankenstein" cross - ie original obverse, fake reverse - rather than an out-and-out fake.

                            We see this so much lately -- core swapping coupled with the addition of desirable marks -- that I wouldn't doubt it for a second. It's a dangerous way to make a fake.
